Although The Board is referred to as the Great Pumpkin in this post, there is certain controversy surrounding what this board is actually called.. It also shares the following names:

Call it What you will. The Fact is, its a Liddle!

do you have to pull on the rail to turn the bastard?
at this point the rail is my orthopedic helper on most turns on most boards. But for the Pumpkin/ Bastard/ Red Book, pulling it around is very helpful.
Besides, most bastards need ASSistance.
