Mick Mackie Surfboards At Shelter, straight from Australia!

Waiting for an international flight…

soon to be at Shelter!

Quite flexible flex tail.

We are beyond stoked to announce that the creative Australian shaping force, that is Mick Mackie is now part of the Shelter lineup. Side-cut fish, flex tails, bonzers and other weirdness will be available here for your riding pleasure. The outlines, hand foiled keels and imaginative possibilities created by these boards are enough to drive someone nuts.

A favorite of our friend Andrew Kidman and recipient of much deserved coverage in recent issues of the Surfer’s Journal and Andrew’s recent book entitled “Ether”, Mick’s stuff is guaranteed to provide a unique ride and help you keep it weird and wild. Hand crafted in his homeland of Australia, and landing here in the next few weeks.

Photos above, are of the boards on their way. Get em as they come or get em just how you want them!

If your curiosity has been peaked by what you see here, check out Mick’s site or hop on over to Kirk’s illustrious blog to learn more about the Larrikin (as Kirk calls him) and his beautiful boards.
