Fineline Update the “Akula”

Here are a few photos from Brian’s bay of the 6′10 Akula (Akula means “shark” In Russian). The Ukula is Fineline’s version of the displacement hull and is very similar in outline and rail to Liddle’s dirt models with slightly broader functionality as was designed in Liddle’s personal boards. Brian tells us that these come with a tad more nose rocker and a bit more wide space in the back half of the board. This board as well as a few other Finelines are due to arrive at Shelter in the coming weeks

We love the fact that Brian creates a variety of truly unique wave riding machines for those who are open to a truly unique wave riding experience.

More updates to come.

  1. easy to see why they are called fine lines

  2. They are quite fine in many respects. Brian is definately a master of his craft and a rad dude but more importantly, his boards work!!

Cant wait to post pics of the new boards onece they come in.. In fact, we have Green Genie’s twin on the way in.. its name will be the White Wizard!
