The Green Genie’s Brother Has arrived!! It’s the White Wizard! The Fineline MP is a functional hull shape with a workable tail. Two points to turn off of and small shark tooth side bites to help you at at the bottom of the wave SOLD!

The Fineline “Der Uberflaven” has double concave from nose to tail! A winged fish with shark tooth trailers behind the keels. The wings also channeled. This is Brian’s poor wave all star and a very unique approach to the fish. Keels are for reals. Pics and full review to come!

Recycled Sidewalk Surf Craft

Recycled skateboards or ridable art? We say art!!

Used skateboards re-shaped and re-equipped by our dear friend Neil Harrison under his own Stormy Monday brand. Each board is one of a kind, numbered, dated and branded with Niel’s own two hands. Surf the street or bust the bowl!

(Top Left: Neil, top right: “The Stingray”, bottom left: purple “Gravy Boat”, bottom right: “Gravy Boat” complete)

Fineline Update the “Akula”

Here are a few photos from Brian’s bay of the 6′10 Akula (Akula means “shark” In Russian). The Ukula is Fineline’s version of the displacement hull and is very similar in outline and rail to Liddle’s dirt models with slightly broader functionality as was designed in Liddle’s personal boards. Brian tells us that these come with a tad more nose rocker and a bit more wide space in the back half of the board. This board as well as a few other Finelines are due to arrive at Shelter in the coming weeks

We love the fact that Brian creates a variety of truly unique wave riding machines for those who are open to a truly unique wave riding experience.

More updates to come.

Shelter Surf Art By Tyler Warren

We’ve been meaning to post pictures of the new sign (mounted) and the play on words painted into our address letters by our good friend Tyler Warren.

The design is classic while the spelling of the word “forth” suggests forward movement. Tyler’s intention was to capture our belief that Shelter celebrates both the heritage of our dear culture and the progression of “the dance”.

For many years Steve has built boards by hand with great attention to detail and quality for many of the greats which at one time included David Nuuhiwa
